Guided Hikes
Join us for an hour-long guided hike along the boardwalk trails located near the Weslyn Park neighborhood! Learn about plant ID, animal behavior and Florida’s ecosystems. Attendance is free, but please register in advance! We will meet at the community garden in Weslyn Park.
Binoculars are encouraged for viewing wildlife which may include egrets, wild turkeys, fox squirrels, great blue herons, sandhill cranes, wild hogs, white-tailed deer, and 6-lined racerunners, though the presence of wildlife is never guaranteed. Prepare by bringing plenty of water, insect repellant, closed-toed shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and hiking attire.
