Sneak Peek: A First Look at Weslyn Park’s Next Gathering Place
It starts with a groundbreaking. Streets fill in with homes. One by one, those streets connect into blocks. Blocks gather around central spaces to become neighborhoods. And over time, those neighborhoods link into a larger network where residential, commercial, and recreational spaces intertwine.
It’s a familiar pattern. One that works.
Over the years, homes gain character. Neighborhoods add charm. Communities take root. Cities bloom.
At Sunbridge, we love every part of that process, from breaking ground to watching families create forever homes. It’s more like a story, less like a development plan.
And in our story arc, nature isn’t a supporting or background character.
That’s what makes living here feel like living in a naturehood. And as we evolve, so does that idea.
We’re growing in a way that allows our residents, businesses, and our naturehood to thrive more sustainably, more intentionally and with future generations in mind.
Now, we’re ready to share what comes next.

What’s the scoop:
It’s official. We’re building a new community gathering spaces that will serve as a multi-neighborhood destination where all of Sunbridge comes together.
In a nutshell:
As Rob Adams, Senior Vice President of Residential Development for Sunbridge, puts it:
“This new space will become the social heart of the next chapter of Sunbridge.”
We couldn’t have said it better. Thanks, Rob. You nailed it.
Give us a preview:
Still in early planning, the Sunbridge waterfront gathering space is planned to include a pool, clubhouse event space, a restaurant, commercial shops and plenty of space for community gatherings.
All of it will overlook the natural beauty that defines Sunbridge: waterfront charm surrounded by trees, within walking distance of Weslyn Park and Del Webb Sunbridge.
Why it’s kind of a big deal:
Let’s just say grabbing an afternoon coffee, running errands, or heading out for dinner is going to get a whole lot easier. And a whole lot closer to home.
In other words, Sunbridge walkability is becoming less of a concept and more of a reality.
Over the next couple of years, a mix of shops and dining will begin to take shape around the amenity center, so the good stuff is right around the corner. No cross-town trek required.
The highlights:
Welcome to Cypress House, Weslyn Park’s newest lifestyle destination, tentatively opening in summer 2027 for Weslyn Park residents.
Here’s a peek at what’s coming:
- Clubhouse
- Zero-entry resort-style pool with lap lanes
- Fitness center
- Set right on the water
Basically, it’s a destination with resort-style amenities. No overnight packing required.

Grab a table at Crane’s Landing, Sunbridge’s future neighborhood gathering spot designed to bring people together over fresh flavors, easy conversation and a welcoming atmosphere. Planned for a late 2027 debut, the concept will draw inspiration from Southern hospitality and Florida’s laid-back spirit.
Redefine convenience with new neighborhood dining and everyday essentials.
Here’s what’s coming:
- A curated, community-focused mix of places that keep life close to home
- A more intentional approach to retail and everyday services
- More time back in your day, thanks to fewer trips in the car
- More flexibility, where coffee, dinner, and errands can happen on a whim
Less destination retail. More everyday convenience.

Where it’s all taking place:
Weslyn Park, of course.
As this neighborhood takes shape, it draws residents and guests deeper into the naturehood. In doing so, it reinforces our commitment to put forests, marshes, lakes, and meadows first, and let neighborhoods follow their lead.
What it means for Sunbridge:
Cypress House will be where community comes to life, not just where amenities exist.
We believe those who choose Sunbridge aren’t just looking for a home. They’re looking for a lifestyle. This new development is part of building that into everyday life.
After years in the making, we’re excited to be pulling back the curtain on something THIS big. We think it will be worth the wait.
