Sunbridge School Squeeze: Voyager K-8 Chases $16 Million Expansion

Voyager K‑8, the three-story prototype school inside the rapidly growing Sunbridge master-planned community in Osceola County, is already nearing capacity less than a year after opening and district leaders are pursuing an estimated $16 million expansion to add more student seats. The proposed project would build on Voyager’s role as one of Sunbridge’s first major public facilities and serve as an early test of how the School District of Osceola County uses sales tax revenues and developer agreements to keep classroom space, parks and infrastructure in step with the thousands of new homes and residents expected to arrive in Sunbridge over the next decade.
