Tavistock’s Sunbridge could bring 30,000 homes to metropolitan Orlando
Tavistock’s Sunbridge is a 27,000‑acre, two‑county master-planned “naturehood” outside Orlando that is permitted for up to 30,000 homes and is working with a roster of builders including Del Webb, Ashton Woods, Taylor Morrison, Craft Homes, Tri Pointe and Toll Brothers. Built on former ranch land, the community is designed around environmental stewardship, preserving about 13,000 acres of oak hammocks and other natural habitats, using 75% native plants and water-saving soils, and partnering with the Florida Headwaters Foundation on conservation education, with development set to accelerate in 2026 through roughly 1,000 new homes from Taylor Morrison and Toll Brothers plus a new commercial district.
